Which ceiling assembly is it? Filters on the sides, or filter at one end? It is easy to put it on backwards, seen it from the factory.

Vents on 3 sides and return on 1 half of center

Just curious what "that was it" was? Your answer could help others in the future.

If it was the same thing(and for someone with a model similar to mine) My bedroom AC did that. The grill is square with two opposing intakes and two opposing exhausts. I removed that(four screws) and underneath was a plastic piece responsible for directing exhaust and intake based on placement also installed with four screws. Mine was installed 180 degrees backwards. Once rotated and reinstalled, all was normal.

Edit. Here is a picture. The piece in question is labeled the Chute/Supply Air Plate.

When they (rv service place) reinstalled the AC after doing the roof, the put ceiling grille on backward...thus air camp out the return vent....grille reinstalled proper way,all is well
