Have you checked Amazon’s prices? Furrion Backup Observation System (https://www.amazon.com/Furrion-381556-FOS48TAPK-BL-High-Speed-Observation/dp/B010XWNFOM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1529042976&sr=8-3&keywords=furrion+backup+camera&dpID=419zmP1H63L&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch) $800 Canadian does seem a bit high.

Ptooti, I hope you kept on shopping: $349 American....probably about $450 CDN. And I only looked in one place.

Bought mine from Amazon.com for $329 on March 5, 2018. I used it for the first time last week on a trip, and the results were fantastic. By properly adjusting the camera on the camper, I could monitor my bikes on the rear rack, as well as see way down the road behind me. I particularly like the guide lines on the screen, which show me that the camper is well within the lane lines.

I like this system better than the built-in ones I've had on my motorhomes in the past.
