TV Mount

Hello from Vermont!! We just bought a Hideout 178LHS and it did not come with a TV, however, there are all the connections in the ceiling to have one. I have contact my dealer and have been going round and round with this. There was no sticker indicating where we could mount a tv, but asked the question would be able to have a tv. They said that there is a 12 x 12 in the wall between the studs. My husband used a stud finder and we were able to find the studs, however not a 12 x 12 filler. Have any of you had this same issue?

I don't have the model camper you do, but I'm guessing the stud finder isn't finding the TV mount backer because it isn't dense enough, it's usually just a piece of plywood, or similar material.

I would contact Keystone directly and ask them where the backer SHOULD be. Ask for measurements from easily identified reference points like the ceiling and the left edge of the bathroom door to the center of the backer.
