We have a brand new 2018 Keystone Retreat LOFT. It was delivered over the winter so we just dewinterized it last week and I can’t get the hot water heater to light....

I switched the bypass valve so I’m pretty confident there is water in the tank. Good stream of (cold) water from the tap.

When I turn on the LP gas switch the DSI fault light comes on, but then goes off after about 30 seconds....... then comes back on and stays on. Electric doesn’t seem to do any anything.

I’m wondering if I’m missing a step since this is the first time the heater has been used.

Any suggestions?

Gas turned on and does the stove top work?

It might take se real tries the first time. Just keep trying it.

I can hear it clicking on and trying to light x3 but keeps going into fault......

Roughly how long would it take for the electric heater to heat up the water so I would at least notice it getting warmer?

Do you know if it is a Suburban or an Atwood? Suburbans have a switch lower left corner. May have a pin in it. If it's off, it is off regardless of what is on inside. The gas could need several cycles to light. Spiders like to build nests in the orifice, you may need to blow it out. Just an idea.
