Water Heater Element Help

I have a 2011 Passport Super Lite. I need to change the heating element of the hot water heater and I'm afraid I have no clue how to find it or get it out. Hoping to get some help on the forum. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum :wlcm:
If it’s a suburban brand the element is underneath the plastic oval cover, located near the bottom left corner.

If it’s an Atwood, the element is located on the back side of the unit. 1 1/2” socket is needed and it’s a tight fit. Best thing is to take the old one out and match the wattage that should be stamped on the part. Be sure it’s actually bad before spending all the time and effort.

Where abouts on the back side? Everything is covered in styrofoam.
