Hot water

Since I arrived in Tn. my hot water heater makes a humming noise when running hot water. It's coming from the heater . I tried to let some pressure off
with the relief valve. It was fine when I left Fl. Have not changed anything. It is a suburban mode sw6 de. Cold water is fine.

I solved the problem. Had to replace the check valve on the hot water outlet from the tank.
