1) Should all floor penetrations be sealed? I removed the access panels for the power distribution and water heater and found 4"x4" holes where the plumbing and electrical pass through. Look like pneumonia holes to me.

2) There are tees with a cap in the hot and cold water lines under the bathroom sink. What are these for? Winterization maybe?

3) I took a couple of screws out of the bottom liner to look at the slide mechanism. I saw a big bundle of unprotected electrical wires that were riding on the actuator housing. I this acceptable routing for an RV? I'm an old aircraft guy so this gives me the heeby jeebies. Chaffing through the insulation is not good.

4) There are two types of screws holding the bottom liner to the frame. Some are #14 self starting sheet metal screws with a 3/8" hex head and some are .... something else with a 1/4" hex head. I don't know what they are because i tried to take one out and the head popped off with very little torque applied. I gorilla taped it and left well enough alone. How do you get those buggers out w/o breaking them?

1) lots of members have sealed the openings. Know that your probably not going to get all of them as sometimes tank vents run up inside walls.

2) Tees with a cap? can you take a pic, that doesn't sound right.

3) There will be lots of stuff underneath, feel free to move it, secure it so it isn't rubbing on the slide mechanism

4) Most likely the 1/4" heads are rivets. You can pop the remainder of the rivet out and then replace with self tapping screws. We use a pry bar between the washer and coroplast to remove them.

Sorry about rotation.

Cant say I've seen that fitting used by the factory in that area. I wonder if the dealership found an issue and only had those fittings on hand to fix it.

The east coast LHS series has an optional exterior shower in one of the "optional groups". I wonder if this trailer was built for the optional shower and the dealer opted not to install that package during production? This trailer has a sink in the outdoor kitchen, so it's possible the shower (which is installed just forward of the outdoor kitchen/bath entry door) could have been omitted to "save a buck"..... ????? Just a thought

I cant see where they hurt anything. Could be a source for a bidet sprayer. :)

There was a Hideout sitting next to this one on the lot with 3 slides. It had an outdoor shower on the back (i think).

As long as they don't leak, they aren't going to hurt anything. A bidet sprayer? That would be one good use.

IMO An extra water hose works better than an outdoor shower because you can walk away from the trailer to use it. The shower wasn't on my want list.

are they caps or air emitters to help the sink drain or something?

I have found that balled up Aluminum foil makes a good "plug" for thru floor holes. It is flexible, cheap, and more importantly, mice won't chew through it.

Good Luck,

Sounds quick and not as messy as spray foam. Thanks!
