Front stabilizer jacks froze up

My Cougar High Country TT front stabilizer jacks wouldn’t move. They were down but wouldn’t retract or extend. Tried to move with manual handle but snapped the extensions off the jack screw. Ended up Un bolting the stabilizer jack pad 3 bolts on each side, lifting it up and zip tying it to the frame assy. Worked for the trip home. Now need to buy new assembly.

What is it with those things? I have three scissor jack stabilizers that extend normally (clockwise turns on the long bolt) and one that decided to be unconventional requiring a counterclockwise turn. Future project will be to disassemble and swap the knuckles (for lack of a better term) 180 degrees. However, it's kinda fun keeping the DW guessing bcuz that's her job. :angel:
