I’ve removed my old fresh water tank and will soon install the new one. (This is a 54by28by7 inch tank on the underside of my trailer) There are wide straps that go across from the main support beams that bear the tanks weight. To remove the tank I had to drill out the screws. As I put in the new tank I need to somehow replace these screws. Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe just using Roofing tape, or maybe a small round head screw and not on the bottom?

We use this:
https://m.grainger.com/mobile/product/1RUR2?cm_mmc=PPC:+Google+PLA&cm_mmc=PPC:+Google+PLA?campaignid=175663197&s_kwcid=AL!2966!3!50916758277!!!s!!&ef_id=WvraBQAABGPeeiUB:20180515130053:s

You can loop it around the cross member and use a small screw/nylock nut to hold the end. Then stretch it across the bottom and loop it around the other cross member. I will install at least 3.

Chartrand, it is commonly known as plumbers tape, readily available at any hardware store also. And very handy to keep around.
