We are thinking of getting a Passport 2520RL but our TV is a bit payload limited. Does anyone have an actual tongue weight for a loaded 2520RL.

Dry tongue weight would be about 540# before propane and battery. Also consider the weight of your hitch.

If the TV is payload limited....that can be an issue. What is the truck and configuration? The payload listed on the door? Sounds like you already know you have a problem. If you know those numbers we can help. Not biased or trying to pass judgement; just trying to help.

No one here can tell you what the "actual" tongue weight of "your" 2520RL will be. I can tell you that the Keystone website lists a 2018 2520RLWE (western) with a dry weight of 5025 and carrying capacity of 1925 = 7000 lbs. gvw. Dry tongue weight of 616. 7000 lbs. x .12 = 840 lbs - generic. It could be slightly more or slightly less. Give us those specs and there are folks on here that can pretty much slice and dice what you need to know.

Are you looking at the Western Edition?

I quoted the WE weights because I didn't know where OP was from and....when I clicked the big blue area on the right (E) I got all the WE stuff so thought there might not be any specs for the eastern units?

Not much difference Danny. About 75# dry hitch weight. Still in the 800# range loaded for camping.
