Welcome from Central Maryland. Our first camper was also that size. We were very happy with it (Wife still misses it).

Welcome from Georgia and happy camping! We also have a Bullet - a 248rks. Be sure to either write down (or text yourself) anything you discover that you want to get/bring along next time, so you don't forget.

Good luck. You will really need to watch how much you load in the trailer and where you load it. You are going push the limits of that Kia as a TV.

Once you have you stuff loaded in you might want to take a trip to the local CAT scale to be sure you have the weight loaded correctly.

The dry weight of the trailer is 4100lbs. I plan on carrying no more than 300-400lbs of cargo for total weight 4500lbs. Any more weight then I'll have to upgrade my TV (even with the WDH). Thanks!

My wife picked out this camper...I wanted something a little bit smaller but...still happy with the 24 footer.

Sounds like your on the ball and know your close. Just be sure to watch your TV payload capacity, this is where most of us with non HD trucks get in trouble with weight.

The payload capacity in that Sorento is 1150lbs. I've already told my daughters that if they want to camp with us they'll have to follow in their car.
