I put the 5er on jack stands this morning for brakes and bearing repack.

Wind gods laughed and responded with this

I think you did a little more than provoke them.

Wow! Sounds like W TX, except, we aren't having it THAT bad right now; just 30-35 at the moment with our beautiful sand. Hope the RV sitting on jacks is doing OK. If you're getting 86 mph winds you might just take a bearing, put some grease in your hand in front of it and let the wind pack it..

Hang in there, tomorrow will be better and maybe you can get your chores done.

Greg, I certainly hope that the winds are hitting the RV from the front or the back. If they at from either side you might want to get Prudential on speed dial.

40k+ here. I was scheduled to have slide awnings installed today. I called the shop and asked if they really wanted to do it; they agreed and rescheduled. We have had this wind for a week now.

I'm now impressed by the jack stands ... 5er still standing and looks like good weather to finish what I started yesterday. Just another spring breeze on the Colorado Front Range!

Seems you got the weather we had, just a day later. Snowed 5" in town yesterday and a foot in the mountains!! Wind gusts were 60+ mph at the house and 90 at the ski resorts.
Ahhh "Springtime in the Rockies":)
