2016 Keystone Springdale 240 BH, I have seen postings that do not recommend mounting a ladder to the back of my RV. Any input?

I see people that do but I would not. I do not think the ladder was designed for the impact of th weight that will applied when the RV is in motion.

IMHO if the manufacturer thought access to the roof was necessary/required/allowed they probably would've put a ladder on it. By not having one I'd check to see if walking on the roof is prohibited by lack of supports before sticking a foot through the roof.
Also for most likely a lot less money than a "rv" ladder you could get a good telescopic or foldable one.

I think it has been said before, no factory ladder, its not a walkable roof.
