View Full Version : A/C roof water

This may be a dumb question, however I've never really noticed it before. Is there suppose to be a good amount of water dripping off the roof from the A/C unit. I noticed quite a bit this past weekend.

Looks like the humidity is up in up-state NY. Very common in high humidity locations. Mine drips about a gallon/hr down here, no exaggeration. If the humidity doesn't drain you on the gulf coast the mosquitoes will :(

Yes very common when the humidity is high.

Good, I'm not going crazy.

GMcKenzie as for Vegas... It is a dry heat (actually lived there for 2 years).

Down here in Georgia camped on an island where the only fresh water is piped in we put out a coffee can to catch the water from the A/C for the racoons and squirrels so they don't chew through our water hose to get a drink.:eek:

I placed a bucket under our drip while camping earlier in the month in Arkansas so the outdoor rug wouldn't get totally saturated and was amazed at the how fast the bucket was filled. It was a wash bucket from Wally World and it filled to overflowing overnight.
