View Full Version : Dometic thermostat temp change

We are out on the shakedown trip in m our new rv, and the dometic thermostat is acting up. We have it set at 71, and most of the times it stays but sometimes it jumps itself to 90 and once dropped itself to 40. Has anyone had this happen before? Is it a faulty thermostat?

Haven't had that happen. How do you have it set and what's the weather outside?

If it’s the “touch” type, take the cover off and pull the “foam” pieces out a bit.

Have it set on auto about 70 degrees. The temp has ranged from 25-50.
