Hi all
I recently upgraded the rear suspension of our 2500HD short box 4x4 crew cab to OEM 3500 SRW springs, etc.
I had a rear spring front eye bolt almost come out so want to check all of the rear suspension's bolt torque.
I've searched the internet high & low for the rear suspension torque specs for a 2011 but haven't come up with anything other than shocks & U-bolts.
The loose bolt is the rear spring front hanger bolt (part #23 on GM's Rear Frame Springs Shocks Bumpers diagram TC07-035).
Appreciate your help.
Thanks
Jon

I would think a dealership could easily get you that info also as that's probably where someone on here would get it.

Thanks Tinner12002. I'm in Australia & the dealer I purchased from currently does not access to US GM technical. I'm making a stepped spacer today to 'fix' the elongated outer mounting hole and will torque to 70 ft lbs.
Hopefully someone on this forum can help.

From what I was able to find looking online the front spring bolt is torque to 148 lb foot pounds and the rear shackle bolt is 70 foot pounds

Thanks Stephen
I had the rear shackles at 70 ft lbs but couldn't find the front one after 3 hours!
I torqued up the front ones this morning to 90 which went easy, so will now go to 148
Cheers

Found this:
2500 Leaf Spring to 3500 doable?
BTW - torque specs for U-Bolts on my 2500hd is 115 ft. lbs. You also need to tighten these in a cross pattern. I recommend tightening in intervals as well to ensure they all get tightened the same. For example, tighten first to 35 ft. lbs, then 70 ft. lbs., etc. I have seen other resource sites that said 110 ft. lbs and others that said 118 ft lbs. I split the difference to settle with 115. Also, shackle bolts need to be 70 ft. lbs. and mounting bolt up front needs to be 115 ft. lbs. Hope that helps anyone looking for this in the future.

I added air bags to my 3500HD - helps allot when towing our fifth wheel. Run 10 psig empty and air up to 35 psig prior to hitching up the fifth wheel.

Thanks Robert
It's unfortunate that the ones imported to Oz are either 2500HD or 3500HD duallies as the newer chassis is so much heavier for the unloaded 2500. Our ratings change to air brakes required to just under 10000 lbs (about $A25,000 to do 5er & truck as well).
Front hanger repair went ok. So far no answers on truck forums I'm on so really appreciate replies.
I have done the U-bolts to 110 ft lbs & the shackles to 70. I'll initially take the front spring mount up to 115 & mark the position. They came loose easily when I removed the 2500HD spring pack. The main concern is working loose so if there is no bolt movement I'll use thread locker.
