5 months??? I ordered mine the first week of February. My salesman called last week and told me it was built and will ship this week. Expect it in 10-14 days.
That is a good looking color combo.

I like the interior. that is what me pick the ram (plus the cummins) on my 2014 limited. i also take some solace in seeing very little has changed to 2018. Ha. Enjoy!

My only real complaint is the size of the middle seat in second row. Not sure why they insist on making it smaller. i guess its perfect for a little rug rat but my adult sized kids dont like that seat anymore.

another question. why dont you enclose the one side of your shop to protect your money trailer? Also, looks like you have a tight fit there at the top!

It is on the list! Pricing it out today. Yes it is a tight fit. Had to dig a few inches of gravel out to make everything work.

Racebug, if its not too personal, what price range did you pay for that? I purchased a 2016 tradesman ctd new and it was $44K. I really wanted the one you have back in 2016 but the price put it out of my reach at the time.

As an aside...I like your place there. The shop and place you have to store the RV looks real nice. The stack of firewood on the left just adds to the appeal.

The sticker was $79,500 or so. I paid just under $71 after taxes. it does have the BIG trans (=high output cummins), air auto level, 30k fifth wheel hitch ect. Only 2 options I didn't get were cd player (yea, that's not standard anymore) and sunroof.

Thanks for the nice comments. The house/property, firewood and shop are all non-paying fulltime jobs! Don't know how we find time to camp, but we still made about 20 short trips last year!!

Absolutely beautiful rig!!! The blue truck complements the blue highlights of the Fuzion. The very best of luck with both your new truck and 5er. Sure to be a head turner!!!

Sure wish I could put up an RV port like yours. I have plenty of space, but deed restrictions on detached structures don't allow.

Regards,
Mike

Most of the time so far it has been bicycles:facepalm: I do have an offroad race car (Baja type) that I shoehorn in now and again, and also my vw woods buggy.

IMO you saved money by not getting the CD player. I got it on mine and it's useless to me. When they went to the 8.4 Uconnect they did away with any CD player in the head. The one you get is a remote.....in the bottom of the bottom console! Useless unless you want to activate autopilot, let go of the wheel, lift the double console lid, turn sideways in the seat and manipulate CDs into the port. I tried it once but the auto pilot on mine slapped me cross eyed forcing me to decelerate rapidly to the side of the road and get my eyes straight; she then told me that next time I'd get a size 12 where I didn't want it:eek: Where DID she get a size 12 from.....?:ermm: Yikes!

thanks all!! Up to 500 miles on it now. really feels like they are detuned from new and the power is coming on more and more every 100 miles or so.

Not sure about the power, has lots so maybe didn't feel the increase, but fuel economy got better after 50,000 miles.:)
