To switch this over to quick connect hose to the TT, does the regulator on the grill need removed for low pressure from the TT? If so the entire hose assembly is replaced to go from grill to quick connect, correct? Or does regulator stay and I need to replace from the regulator to the quick connect?

The trailer supplied propane is already regulated down so to utilize the gas line on the trailer you need to remove the regulator from the grill. You can either plumb in a quick connect in place of it and then add a new hose to go from the quick connect to the trailer connection, or attach a hose direct to the grill to attach to the trailer connection. I prefer a quick connect and separate hose but camp with others who prefer the permanent hose.

BTW there is a sticky at the top of this page with a video that will show you how to hook up a grill to the trailer supplied propane.

Oh boy. See that now. Comprehensive too. Thanks for the quick reply and pointing out the sticky. I can see the advantage of having a separate hose too.

This is what I did to use my Weber Q2200 with the camper.

I added a second gas port, so I could use the grill and the outside kitchen stove at the same time.

I took the regulator off of the grill, added a quick connect connector and bought a 10 foot hose to connect the BBQ to the new gas port.

I also added a quick connect to the old regulator and bought a hose to connect that to a standard BBQ gas tank, so I can use it at home.

It was very easy to do, just make sure you use the yellow joint tape for any connections.
