I would be sure I knew what psi and/or load the wheels are rated for. Likewise, when you put new tires on be aware of the same info.
I like Maxxis or the new Carlisle HD. Check the Carlisle HD price on WalMart.com. Free delivery to your store and free mounting. Balancing is extra.

I'm confused. You have two cracked wheels and you are only replacing those two, right ?

I believe Clif is saying he's replacing all four wheels AND tires and I applaud him for this.
Clif, I have no opinion on what wheels to buy. That is not exactly my forte. But I do have an opinion on your tires and it is the very same as Gearhead. Yes, there are a number of acceptable brands, but dollar for dollar this seems to be the best.

Which brand of wheel to buy is very much like which brand of tow vehicle is best.... So, look at the specs on the wheel, weight capacity, rim width, pressure rating and buy what works best for your application.

Keep in mind that as a general rule, steel wheels are stronger than aluminum wheels. Not all steel wheels are "white ugly things". There are some very attractive (whatever that means to you) that would look good on almost any travel trailer. And as a "bonus" steel wheels are typically 25-50% the price of aluminum wheels.

It pays to shop around, some online retailers offer discounted prices and free shipping, so the best deal may not be at your local tire shop..... and, your local tire shop probably can't beat WalMart's prices for the Carlisle Radial Trail HD tire. It's probably the best bang for your buck of any ST tire available today.

I just went through a similar exercise with my Keystone 2920. Purchased 5 Sendel T03 15x6 5x4.5 aluminum wheels off Amazon for $73 each. Then took them to Walmart and got Carlisle HDs mounted. I've been very pleased and driven about 3000 miles since with. I issues.

Those look like typical steel wheels. You can check by seeing if a magnet will stick to them. If it doesn't, they are aluminum.

CrazyCain- A magnet should be able to tell you.

Do you know why the wheels cracked?

NHTSA has recalled some wheels for spoke cracks. You can check their data base. Just maybe you could get all new ones free from a recall action.

Hodgy, there at very few, if any, stainless steel wheels on the market.
