Help. I can't find the low point drains on the 2008 Raptor I recently purchased. Do any of you know where they are located? There is nothing underneath the unit.

Mine are in my convenience center, if yours aren't, then they could be around the outside of the frame and inside the skirting. They could possibly be just on the inside of the frame rails also. Not sure when they started installing those but it was at least in 06 as my 06 toy hauler had them...maybe they've always had them though not sure.

Try looking underneath utilizing the cut out for the main stair/step entrance, look for two pipe stubs hanging straight down with plastic valves.

I hope I described that so it is understandable...with the steps down for the main entrance, look behind where the step unit is mounted to the trailer.

Low point drains can be just about anywhere. Seen them in convenience center, sticking out of coroplast, tucked up just behind the J wrap, under the bathroom sink.
Only brand I know of that doesn’t have them is Big Horn. I asked a few months ago and the rep said they deleted them several years ago.

Thanks all. I'm going back out to the unit today and I'll keep searching. I guess manufacturers just can't make it simple. I also called the dealer and they weren't really sure where they are either.

as stated low point drains are there to drain the rig piping (hot, cold) to the outside. So I would look under the rig for two stubs protruding from the bottom cover of the rig. Sometime valves are at the end of these stubs and other times in another place such as the convenience center. Good Luck

I found them.:applause: They are hidden just forward of the steps. Both of mine are white, no red and blue. Thanks to all for the help.

I want to speed up the process of de-winterization and would like to put valves on my low point drains. Look to be 1/2 inch.

Does anyone know what type/brand of valve commonly works on these low point drains?

Thanks!

1/2” pex line fittings. Variety of valves at your local home improvement store.

These have worked great on mine, the large handles are easy to turn when reaching under the trailer.
