Spring bar/trunion hitch compatibility

After our 2012 Keystone Passport was stolen/located we were able to recover the trunnion bars for our Curt hitch. We purchased a used 2013 Keystone Passport that came equipped with round style spring bars and a different hitch.

Can the Curt hitch/trunnions bars be used safely without changing the setup of the snap-up brackets that are positioned for the round style bars?

If it's a standard WDH, the brackets just provide a place to attach the chains. Only difference between trunnion and round bars is how they attach at the hitch.

Your reply is the same as that received from a service tech that checked our trailer. For peace of mind needed to ensure the brackets didn't need to be readjusted. Thanks for your help.
