I recently purchased the steady fast system for my 2017 Spirinter 334FWFLS. In reading through the installation I will need to relocate the spare tire in the front. Has anyone done this? And where did you move it?

Not your trailer, but I installed a BAL Hide-A-Spare between the rear axle and the rear steps on my Outback 250URS.

I don't have a very good picture of the install, but you can get the idea here:

Not
Front mounted, was/is behind rear axle, but when enclosing our under carriage I moved the spare tire carrier about 6”, just held in with self tapping screws.

I have a 2018 and it is mounted in the front. Not the best for pin weight.

I can't help think it would hurt moving your spare forward unless your at the limit of your trucks GVWR but even then you would only get a portion of the tire weight on your hitch. If you kept it close to your axles it really wouldn't hardly be noticeable on your hitch. My spare is mounted behind the axles on a winch. Actually thinking about buying a Bal Hide-a-spare bracket and see if I have room to mount it in front of my axles and hang both sets of patio steps on it. Of course I'll measure and see before I purchase it.
