I'm just curious.
What features do you LOVE about your RV?

Conversely, what are you not happy with?

Phil, I think DW and I both would say the theatre seating in front of the large TV and the built in dishwasher. Conversely, I don't like flushing the RV toilet with the vent fan on high. I've got to learn to crack the door when I do this for an air source.

Wow. A dishwasher. That's cool.
My DW (48 yrs) likes TV. Do you have satellite?

The best feature the DW and I like is the RV itself and the fact that it is our get a way, especially in the winter months!

I agree. Just having the RV for a getaway is so great!
And the terrific people you meet along the way is amazing!

We tried the Dish network, pay as you go but lost interest and sold it here on the forum. We don't watch much TV (a little MeTV with Perry Mason) and all the college football we can get.
Yes, a dishwasher. We had a portable dishwasher in the Raptor. Simply took the casters off and set it by the W/D connection and away you go.

We like:

the inside hatch to the pass-through storage area that serves as a laundry chute
the mounting of the trailer floor above the wheels so there is no lost space inside the trailer for wheel wells
a swivel-mounted light on each side at the head of the bed instead of one fixed light in the middle
ample storage for the size of the TT
ducting of AC and heat for better distribution and control
putting the control panel right by the door

Improvements we would like to see:

a few more conveniently located electric outlets
the way the factory chose to affix the bathroom wardrobe closet upper shelf; instead of stapling the shelf to the top of the horizontal supports mounted on the sidewalls, the shelf was stapled to the underside; put the shelf on top of the supports
move the in-feed line and check valve for the black water tank flush out of the clothes closet; put it back under the bathroom sink
better OEM tires (enough said!)
a walk-in shower stall instead of a bathtub
another drawer in the kitchen (it looks as if, due to the configuration of plumbing, it would have to be half-width, which would be OK)
vent the hood properly, don't recirculate

Large residential shower and a bathroom large enough that the door can be shut while you sit on the throne without hitting your knees.

Next one will have a ceiling fan... that's about the only thing I wish we had that this trailer doesn't well that and a king bed..

We like our rear kitchen floorplan. Lots of counter space and cupboards. Access to the fridge, sink and bathroom without having to open a slide for lunch stops is very nice.

Most wanted: Would like to have drawers under the dinette seats for pots and pan storage.

Love may be a little strong. :)

We like the lack of the newer features, like auto leveling. There’s enough to fiddle with without extra complication and grief.

The garage is a big plus. Carry the ride du jour and use it for storage, Spendide washer/dryer combo, mud room, etc.

The two GC batts and LED lights have made it more usable when boondocking, along with the electric/gas fridge instead of an AC only fridge. I really like (OK...maybe love) the portable ice maker.

The electric, faux fireplace is kind of handy when there is AC power. Practical bling...

The outside fridge (AC only) is handy at times.

The trailer GW is only 12,600#. About as light as we could find in a 5th wheel toy hauler.

I’m a journey guy, but appreciate the comfort at the destination compared to the popup, pickup camper we had before.

The wifey likes the interior layout and the bathroom. Me, too.

LOVE the fact that its in the backyard so we can go "camping" any day we want

HATE the fact that I'm still working too many hours to take it out as often as I'd like.

Couldn't agree more. We recently moved up from a Pop-up so we like everything. :D:D:D

I'm with the others who just love to get away. Even for a quick weekend trip. Sad we just winterized it. Still can have a Happy Hour or two in it though! Lol

I guess we love the freedom to go anywhere at any time that the trailer gives you, and quite honestly, it's so much cheaper than a motel or condo. We really like the floorplan. We also like the fireplace in cold weather. Not only is it nice to look at, it's a very efficient heat source.

The primary things I don't like are the placement of the large windows on the side. I bought this trailer with the large windows on the driver's side (along with all the hookups). Prior to this trailer we had always camped in places where that would not be an issue. Now, the campground that we winter at in FL has all the hookups on the driver side and they are doubled up. That means when we park our large windows look straight at the other RV beside us. Some have large windows looking back at us and some don't. It's not optimum to me. Thankfully, we have made friends that stay there like us and we choose the side to side sites. Their motorhome has the large windows on the opposite side of ours so it works out, but, my wife just talked to them and they bought a new 44' motorhome so don't know now. Guess we'll find out Nov. 1. The other thing that is cumbersome is the enclosed LP tanks/batteries in the cowl. It was one of the reasons I bought that particular trailer but did not think about having to pull the cowl and then the LP tanks to service the batteries. Looks good, PITA - guess it's a wash.

DW likes the outside kitchen as we rarely cook inside and the fridge, although only electric, is a big deal with three kids. We also like the bunk house and the kids love it.

We just upgraded to a 37 ft. Laredo 334RE and love the floor plan. We replaced a 30 ft. rear kitchen model that was easy to tow and park most places we went. The new trailer is a bit more to handle at 57 ft. long when connected so finding gas stations I can get into and out of is a challenge. The wife love the kitchen in the Laredo and the closet across the whole front of the bedroom. I love the auto leveling feature. The unit is a pleasure to stay in.

Amen to both.

The DW and I find our little trailer is perfect for the 2 of us.

I love the outdoor kitchen and the upscale features like ducted heat and cooling, the stand up shower, with a glass door, power awning, enclosed frame... not to mention all the things the old popup did not have like hot and cold water running, bathroom with sink, toilet and the above mentioned shower, nice sized fridge and lots of storage.

I hope to retire in the next couple of years and be able to start dragging the wheels off of it :D

We love that the kids/grandkids have their own room (the garage) for all their stuff and own TV. So if you get up early and want coffee you dont have to wake up the whole camper.

Like:

Great for a family trips with young kids. We can pack everything we need and have it ready. I fly a lot for work and know how much of pain it is to pack the needed items for the whole family.

Size of RV is great. It's just big enough for the family, but not too big that I can't fit into State and National parks.

A bathroom on the road is good for the kids.

Dislike:

I wish I had a larger shower.

I wish the kid's bunks had more than a curtain, so I could get up in the morning without waking them.

Larger grey tanks (only 30 gallon).

I wish it was stored at home. It makes projects and maintenance much easier.

The list of loves is long for us! We love the size of our bathroom in this model and all the storage. We love the bunk room for the kids. Thrilled with the second A/C we just added. LOVE our king size bed and memory foam topper we added! We swear we sleep better in our tiny camper bedroom than in our home!

And of course, best of all is the memories in the making. Our three kids are still at home (19, 16, and 8) so we are trying to still cram in all we can while we have them with us!!

Features we love about our new Bullet 248RKS:
*Great storage throughout camper
*good kitchen counter space
*large, deep kitchen sink
*Tri-fold sofa for occasional guests (dinette, too); couch is comfortable
*60 gallon gray water (two 30-gallon tanks)
*2 entrance/exit doors
*All controls/gauges right inside rear door and out of reach of small children
*TV right across from couch

Features that we don't like (but were not deal killers for us):
*slide prevents access to bathroom and thermostat when in (annoying, but we've learned to plan for it when setting up/taking down)
*short queen bed (luckily, we're not tall people)
*two separate dump valves for gray water - bath and kitchen (having 60 gallons gray makes up for it)

For us, the positives outweigh the negatives.

We love, and these were "Must haves" when we bought:
* Seating area with at least 2 chairs (we have a couch and 2 chairs - BONUS!)
* Shower finally big enough to use
* Electric jacks (no self levelling, but that's OK)
* Big window in back or on the side
* Underneath storage - we were sick of storing our chairs, table and other outdoor stuff inside and unloading it every time

Things we've come to like since purchasing:
* Island in the kitchen
* Huge TV
* Built in dresser in bedroom
* Cabinet under kitchen sink big enough for a trash can
* Outdoor speakers & Bluetooth to stereo system
* Central vacuum - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!

Thing we wish we had or miss from our old 5th wheel:
* An outlet next to my side of the bed
* A vent above our bed
* We would like to have the awning angle down a bit more - it's so high that sometimes it doesn't provide enough shade, but the slideout prevents that
* The awning to be a couple feet longer
* Room somewhere other than the shower for a laundry basket

We love our 2016 333MKS fifth wheel. The theater seating is awesome sitting directly across from the tv. It was one of the main reasons that we bought this trailer. The bathroom shower is very large which is great. Do not like the fact that their is no place for a waste basket in the bathroom. We also have a large tv in the bedroom which is nice when going to bed. Just wish these things came with a better antennae to pick up more stations, but we love redbox. Also, I agree with an earlier post that the awning could be longer. Since we are getting toward the fall and the sun is lower in the sky, the awning does not work quite as well. We have our camper in a semi-permanent campground but our setup allows us to pull out whenever we want. Because of this, we have camped every weekend since memorial day except one and have gone on 2 one week vacations to pigeon forge and summersville WV.

We LOVE our island and how it allows one of us to cook while every guest/family member can freely move about the rig on the wide other side of the island. And the same while washing dishes.

The only trailer-specific dislikes are we wish the awning was a bit longer; it even looks kind of short on the trailer. Our other dislikes are more general RV issues like many of the items being kinda flimsy or seemingly not durable, or issues like the floor flexing, which come with the ultra-light package. We understand these are all the nature of the game though.

Likes:
Wife had to get the King size bed option and glad she did.
Lots of headroom.
5500 Cummins/Onan generator in case of hurricane evacuation.
Large refrigerator and freezer.
Garage area has too large retractable bunks and one converts into sofas.
Extra 1/2 bath is nice for kids and grandkids...little ones get hosed off outside!

Dislikes:
Need larger grey water tank.
Need to use folding trays to eat on in the main part of the trailer.
Ladders to get into loft and upper rear bed can be dangerous.
Shower could be a little larger.

I really enjoy the SMELL of the camper! The good looking woodwork, with the "distressed" look. All of that wonderful wood & its smell. We love our '15 Sprinter 302RLS, but it should have had a second AC unit for the bedroom. Actually, it's ok until it gets to about 90+ degrees outside.
