Load range E on these stock wheels

The ST225 75R15 LRE tire is rated at 2830 pounds at 80PSI. That tire would be the maximum allowed on your wheels (provided the manufacturer approves installing them on the 6" rim width). http://www.maxxis.com/trailer/trailer-tire-loadinflation-chart

I'd recommend Maxxis or Carlisle ST tires if you're installing replacements for your "china bombs".......

Check the back side of the wheel for psi rating, but as a guess the steel wheel will be fine. They are typically rated for at least 80.

If by chance you have 6 lug wheels, you could upgrade to 16" wheels and tires and have a better selection for tires, plus you would have the 3450lb rated E tires just to have some load cushion. At least that's what the Maxxis 16" tires I had were rated at.

My wheels do not have a psi rating. They have what yours do; a stamp for 2830 lbs. and I upgraded from LRD to LRE with them without a problem.

I happen to find some brand new ones on ebay for my older tri axle when I had it, bought 8 of them for $45 each. Went back 2 yrs later bought 4 more for another RV for same price so there are some deals out there should you decide to go that route.

On my 2002 Wildcat I updated from 15 to 16 inch wheels so I could install load range E LT tires.

I put 50k+ miles on them and never had any more China Bomb tire problems.

Sometimes the psi rating is o the rim under the tire.
