Well I have had my Carbon 31 TH for 2 1/2 years now and for the most part we love the functionality and space it provides us. The Two biggest issues - I'm 6'2 and the door way into the Garage is about 6'-0 as well as the Jack knife sofas when elevated are less than 6' so All Summer I have scares on my head where I forget and pill the skin off my head. Currently have a nice one healing. It is such a shame that a unit with 9 ft ceilings has to have such low doors and garage clearances. What would take to give us a few more inches.....as Im sure I not the only one with this issue. If you are listening KEYSTONE listen to your customers.

LOL....reminds me of when I had my 7x16 foot enclosed trailer. We bought it new and the side door was pretty low headroom. I started out of it one day, closely followed by my wife, and as I went through the door I blurted out to her....."watch your head". She laughed out loud and walked right through the opening. She is 5' 2" and didn't need to duck. Me, on the other hand, found something new that was harder than my head. I don't miss it

Ah yes, scars on the ol' noggin I have one currently healing from an encounter with the hatch cover under the bedroom slide. That one only goes up to just over horizontal vs the other which is ~60 degrees. But that one is no comparison with whanging my head on the pin box on our last 5er. That one included a trip to the ER for a blow out patch to my, ahem, ever increasing forehead once I woke up with an EMT asking me how many fingers. Maybe some of that is also due my 6'4" height. My wife said it sounded like a hammer hitting a steel plate.

Sounds like they addressed all heights by putting cabinets 8 foot off the floor

I found a different way to address the problem, although I don't recommend it! Remember the old adage "If you can't lower the river... Raise the bridge"? Well it didn't work! For a while we lived in a house circa 1783. Mostly 5'9 to 6' doorways. I learned to duck real quick! LOL Even took my shoes off to save the extra inch...

I broke both legs in 12 places back in 1982 when a drunk ran a stop sign in front of my MC. Went into the wreck 6'7, came out 6'3! At least now I can find pants long enough, I went from a 36 or 37 inseam to a 32/33, and a 6'6 doorway isn't even a challenge anymore, even with a "boot heel".

Good Luck'

Seems like everyone is putting a bunk above the garage door. If they didn't do that they could easily put a nice tall door in, but then everyone who isn't worried about door height would complain. It only takes a couple times before you'll remember to duck each time. We're all just dumb animals that need to be trained by the cattle prod method.

My issue is having 2 sets of patio steps and no place to store or carry them except in the garage taking up valuable space!! Need an underside carrier for those or even an enclosed underside carrier!
