Just got my new used 2012 318sab and my basement doors will not shut and latch. It looks like the hinges have a lot of slop in in them. And help would be appreciated

Just got my new used 2012 318sab and my basement doors will not shut and latch. It looks like the hinges have a lot of slop in in them. And help would be appreciated
My front door under the fifth wheel overhang does the same some times. I discovered that if I slide the door to the right so that the hinge hits a stop screw, the door will then close and latch properly. Sometimes it's only a 1/4" or less of movement, but that's all it takes.

You may have to try sliding both ways to get it to work.
