I used rope light under side by steps.(LED blue) Cut and sealed ends with 3M wire shrink tubes over weather resistant cord. Routed under through heater compartment(under inside steps)and up to entertainment center where I installed two switches:
one for outside step lights(both steps)
and one for the interior step(so wife wont fall down steps at night)

Has anyone put an awning on the back deck/ramp?

Nice work, just bought a 347

Also, What brand of rear awning did you use, I feel like there ought to be one over the rear door as well.

I think Dometic are what comes from the factory or at least that's what I have at the back of mine. My dealer wanted to use Solera awnings for slide toppers but my RV storage guy insisted on me using Dometic on those also as the Solera awnings are pretty cheap in his opinion and he says he's put a lot of awnings on.

Congratulations on the new Carbon!
The awning I just installed was a 12' model 9100 from Dometic. Couldn't find a supplier of the original fabric used on the main section, so we ended up replacing the original one. (Wife liked the new fabric)

I added the step light as well, really nice to leave on when sitting by the fire and you don't need the bright whites.

That's why we added ours as well. It's nice to be able to see without the awning lights in our face.

MickLittle, I purchased a Carbon 364 a few months ago and I have been trying to get info on adding an awning over the garage entry door. My dealer at first said the electric wouldn’t be a problem but there might not be enough wall structure to attach the awning to. Now they are saying I could put a manual awning there but they can’t do the electric. Are you able to elaborate on the mounting and wiring of the awning you installed? Did you have to add any structural support for the frame or was there enough support already there? Did you have to run a new electrical circuit or did you feed from something already in the overhead cabinet circuitry?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

The awning rail was already there running the full length of the RV. this is the attachment rail for the fabric of the awning. I located the metal structure and mounted the awning support arms to them.
I used the existing electrical (under my overhead cabinet in garage) for power to the new awning. I used the rear awning power circuit (I knew that I would never use both controls at the same time) I ran the wiring from here, through our upper bunk, (There was an empty cavity at the kitchen side) and drilled to the outside awning support. All wiring was concealed. I did it by myself, and it really wasn't too difficult.

svt,
I ordered the kits through Amazon. Here is the brand I purchased and they were pretty simple to install. They came with decent instructions on how to install them.

Mick,
I want to add DC power outlets in the bedroom of my recently acquired 2016 Carbon 347. Can you share details on your wire routing? I think that the chase along the right side of the bedroom can be used but am having trouble finding how it is mounted - any ideas?

I found a lighting circuit that was a hot wire going to the overhead lights above the bed. I tapped into these wires for the DC outlets. I believe is was a green set of wires.
Hope this helps!
I hope you enjoy your Carbon. Ours was a well built unit!
