Hello all, I'm not sure if this the right place to ask this but here goes. What type/ name brand of racks are you using on top of your pick up truck while pulling a travel trailer without the kayaks interfering with the the trailer. I have a 2016 F-250 crew cab short bed and want to mount some racks on it to carry our kayaks along,. Any suggestions?

I have a single Thule and a single diy box mounted rack just behind cab on my Ram 1500 but I think I will get another Thule and eliminate the diy rack. I carry two Hobie mirage drive kayaks

Take a look at the TracRac. I have a short box 2500 and can haul a 15 foot canoe and a couple kayaks if needed.

Still have access to a roll up tonneau cover too. Although the cover must be an inside mount. TracRac rails mount in the stake pockets of the bed. Racks can be slid anywhere on the rails forward or backwards to accommodate your positioning. With just kayaks, I usually slide them forward and lay the kayaks flat.

Would like to go to a 5th wheel but then I cannot take the fun things along.
