I've searched for this topic, but wasn't able to find anything on it. I was just curious if it was okay to pour boiling water down the sink of my TT. I'm assuming it's fine, but always turn the cold water on while pouring to be on the safe side. Can't imagine it's much different than house plumbing in that aspect. Thanks.

I've done it without any harm. Drain hardware is usually ABS that withstand hot water. Just make sure you don't have one of the newer waterless trap.

I pour boiling water down the sink all the time and I've never had a problem. Everything is the same as a house except it's been put together by Keystone so you know that you'll have problems. :dizzy::lol:
I also run the cold water as it cuts down on the steam. Having the vent hood close by is a bonus as the fan sucks all of the steam out. :)

Thank you all. I figured as much, but thought I'd put this forum to work a little today. Thanks again.
