Any suggestions on how to keep your gray tank fresh smelling and clean?

Have you tried Gray water tank chemicals? Just like with the black tank, they make dissolvable tablets and liquid form cleaners to deodorize and help flush any waste. My kitchen sink is on it's own gray tank and I use one of these tabs once or twice a season. Check out camping world or your favorite RV product supplier.

For a 40 gallon tank, we use 1/4 cup of simple green, 1/2 tank of water, take it for a ride. Cleans the sensors....does the same thing as Dawn Ultra does with 1/2 the suds. Either one works but don't overdo the amounts as you might get TOO many suds  We use it in our black tank as well. Amazing, the sensors work.

Dawn ultra and hot water.

That or buck a bottle Awesome from the Dollar Store. Awesome is also a great spot remover and pre-spray for the wash. Effective spray degreaser for the racks in my smoker, too.
