I have a 2006 Laredo 29rl fifth wheel
that I need to get to the TV to hook up a satellite dish. It's in a corner cabinet over the fireplace but can't get the TV out. Any ideas?

You need to get a flashlight and a mirror to determine how the TV is mounted. If you can describe what you see we can probably figure it out for you. Some lift up and then out, some just lift off.

My TV is a 32"flat screen. It's inside the cabinet, right up against the inside of the cabinet and is mounted rigid. I can't move it up, back or any way. I'll try the mirror. Good idea. Thanks

Some pictures would be helpful, too.

2006 was a long time ago. I don't know what kind of mounts they used back then, but the TV in the garage in mine has a strap hanging down that you have to pull and then you can move the TV mounting arm and also lift it off the mount. Until you pull the strap it feels like it's solidly attached to the wall. It drove me crazy until I figured out that was what the strap hanging there was for.

My TV in my 2005 Everest was a VERY heavy CRT model mounted inside a cabinet. It was too big to get out, and no trim could be easily removed to get it out.

I ended up using a sawzall reciprocating saw and cutting the top of the front face off the TV. It was surprisingly easy, and the TV even worked afterwards (but I threw it out anyway).

I replaced it with a 43 inch 4K flatscreen on a flexible mount. Very happy with result - less weight, better and much bigger TV, and now a large cabinet for extra storage. Best mod I've ever done!
