New to the forum. Bought a 2011 Passport 2510RB in August 2014 and used it for 2.5 years until we recently sold it to upgrade after finding ourselves always camping with friends and family.

Just picked up a 2014 Bullet Premier 29bh. Took it out on its first trip last weekend and my Silverado (5.3, 3.42 axle) pulled it like a breeze. Was actually more stable than the lighter Passport.

Not even close. Trailer weights 6300, truck has a towing capacity of 9600, right from the owners manual. No nonsense here.

Oh, haha, thanks for the good one! Makes sense. I often use the shower and will pee anytime. I do avoid pooping, as my previous Passport did not like to drain poop and TP very well. I had to do a lot of work cleaning it out.

My truck isn't very juiced up... and even, still, an LTZ doesn't have more than 100 lbs extra on it over a stripper (vs. same drivetrain types)

I had a Silverado LTZ 1500 4x4 crew cab, my payload was no way near the amount I thought it was. Good folks on here helped me see that.

I do apprecite the concern, but I definitely considered weight when buying. We really preferred a Jayco Jay Flight in the same floorplan, but it weighed 1000lbs more (being wood framed vs aluminum framed). I knew that might be pushing it when loaded, so we went the Premier route. :)

I think with also 3000 lbs of difference I am well covered. I never tow with the tanks full (except within a campground to the dump stations for example), and we don't load it up. Checking my old trailer we carry around 1129-1272 lbs of cargo (scale based). We haven't added anything more for cargo to this rig, so I have nearly 2,000 lbs between my rig and the truck's capacity.
