Just installed a new 13,500 Coleman A/C unit in the bedroom of our 2006 Montana. Didn't have to replace the inside assembly but imagine my surprise, (not really) to see that the RV dealer who installed the original didn't do anything to close off the return air side from drawing hot air from the attic. No wonder it didn't work too well before it just quit.
I fixed that by using aluminum tape. Quick and easy. Now looking forward to our 4 week August trip east to hopefully enjoy the difference. 1342113422

Looks like they didn't frame any either. Most I have seen has boards between the ceiling and roof to prevent crushing. The roof trusses work for the two, but the other two side are just voids.
