Are you going someplace in upstate New York in 2011? We did last year. We traveled all along the St. Lawrence river from just west of Alexandria Bay to the bridge entering Vermont. Right in the middle we stayed at the Massena International Kampground ( http://massenainternationalkampground.com/index.html ). We had never stayed there before and were delighted at what we found. A very friendly CG with loads of things going on and at reasonable prices. An excellent location for exploring a large area of the USA & CDN sides of the river. The web site provided above has all the information about the CG with some great pictures of the place and it’s amenities.

Just a short drive from the CG is the Massena shopping Mall. And another short drive east will bring you to the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino where you will find a large dry camping area for any size RV rig and free to all casino users. It’s paved, lined off and within easy walking distance to the casino.

At the campground we were in site 131, a very large back-in with 50 amp FHU. With a discount and cash payment we got it for 5 days for $150.00.
