The door knob lock, not the dead bolt, on my 2010 Montana's entry door has stopped working. Does anyone know the best way to find where and what to replace the entry door lock? Manufacturer, stock number, etc.?

I think there might have been a recall some years back but I am not the original owner.

My Raptor has the Faster key set and this is the one I think you were referring to in a recall

Check your key numbers. Had mine replaced

I had good luck here with our last 5er:http://www.rvlocksandmore.com/LocksKeys/Locks

I think they are a bit less expensive then the FIC and in my case, bolted in place with problem

I checked my key and it is a Fastec (FIC), which is what I think you are saying.

I looked at outside of my door lock and cannot find the lock model number so I guess I will have to take the lock out of the door to find the model number then replace the lock temporarily until a new lock can be found.

I went to the site for rvlocksandmore and it has a lock that looks like mine but I need to find the model number on my lock. Did you mean to say that there was a problem when bolting your replacement in place?

OOPS, That should be 'NO PROBLEM'

Our FIC entry lock on the current 5er is getting sloppy too and I may be ordering one soon though it might be their higher security $35 version with a couple extra keys. For sure it wont be another sloppy FIC.

Thanks to all. My need for a deadbolt lock limited my choices and after reading some of the horror stories (eg: getting locked out by frozen locks) in the "comments" on some of the products, I ordered the Fastec lock from Amazon - it has problems but seemingly fewer major problems (I hope)
