Thought this had been posted earlier today but I think I messed up...
Had posted earlier about a trip early last year where the antenna had been cranked down but had not locked into the slot. Well I think we all know what happens at freeway speed. Anyway.
Would you just replace it with original batwing? As far as installation that would probably be the simplest. Is there really any major differences in HD reception with any of the antennas.
Just curious. Thank you

Our batwing antenna broke a couple years ago, and it was the basic Winegard Sensar antenna. I replaced the head only with a new Sensar IV Replacement Head with Wingman. It was quick to replace, and does improve reception a bit.

What Bob said^^^^. It does improve the reception a little, but don't get too excited about it. And I guess if you RV long enough someday you'll forget the antenna. And it is very easy to replace.

Just searched and found the RVW-395 Sensar lV... I guess that would fill the bill.

Do you need the arm and base or just the head?

the wing is only held on with two pins that have clips. The coax is 7/16 open end, 15 minute job.

1/2 the money:

I need the whole thing. Broke off one of the arms and the head...

The head was somewhere between Colusa and Vacaville. Probably with a leg attached.
Definitely a lesson learned. I will now go on the food to make sure it is locked in...
