I just got my 178LHS and I want to install a new TV. I see where to wall is marked to install the tv. I know there is a vertical stud but it looks like there is one is one tha runs horizontal also is that correct? Also what is the best mounting hardware to use?

Welcome to the forum from Radium Hot Springs BC.
There is normally a rectangular plate behind the area marked for the tv.
Try self tapping sheet metal screws.

1 1/2" max I would say, especially if your mounting on a sidewall.
