Anybody have any experience with this? Did a forum search and didn't come up with anything but 2 threads just mentioning it. Kit is now priced at $189.

Looks interesting. I wonder if it can work as an observation camera?

I would guess it depends on how you wire it. Most wire it to the running lights so if they are on the camera is on. Most tow behind RVs don't have backup lights.

I can't vouch for the system but the two orders I've placed with them in the past have been prompt and error free. With any Toy Hauler, they recommend one of two installation methods. Either order an extension cable for the camera antenna to run it in front of the garage wall for better reception or order the 2 meter antennas for the monitor/receiver and camera.

I ordered their 2 meter antennas for the BOYO system which came with our Fuzion that suffered from poor signal reception. They worked perfectly.

Although this is not the system you are interested, there is more information about the challenges we face:

Reviews on Amazon are less than stellar, but better than the lower cost models. About the same reviews as the Furrion ones.

MattHelm21 thanks. I had read that.

captcolour I agree. That's why I posted here. Amazon reviews you never know. You kind of have to sort through all the "noise" and make your own judgments lots of times.

I just went ahead and ordered one based on price, availability, and reviews versus others. Hopefully it will work well.

Which kit/items did you get and for how much? They seem to have different prices for the same thing on different pages of their site. It's pretty confusing. How long is your Alpine? My Raptor is 37' nose to tail plus I guess about 6-8 more feet to the dash of the truck.

Alpine is 39'. Will try to install this weekend. Supposed to arrive tomorrow.

One problem you may run into with that camera mount is if you are going to mount it to a vertical surface like mine. This looks like the same camera I have and with that mount, and normal camera attachment to it, the antenna will contact the trailer if the lens isn't pointed almost directly down. I wanted to view more to the rear so I took a chance and dropped two of the six camera to bracket mounting screws and moved the whole camera away from the trailer using the four mounting locations on the camera furthest from the lense through the four mounting locations on the bracket closest to the lense. This increased the clearance between the camera antenna and the trailer allowing the lense to be rotated up.

If possible, please post picture of how you mounted the camera. It would help me when I start to mount my camera. Thanks.

Sure. Unfortunately, its dark here already so I’ll need to wait until tomorrow evening when I get home from work.

Sorry it took so long to get back to this thread. I’ve been fighting a cold all week and finally got it under control so I was able to get out and take some pictures. I’m attaching two. The first one is the garage camera and is mounted as designed. It differs from the one over the ramp only in the positioning of the mount. The second is the one over the ramp and you can see what I did to move it away from the trailer and get enough clearance with the antenna to rotate it up.
