Hey all , i have frost in freezer after 4 wk trip .
My question is will it drain out when i shut it down?

Nope... shut off... open doors... wait.... come back in few hours and sop it up with towels. I sometimes put a bath towel in the bottom of the freezer to soak it up until I get back... just don't forget and not come back for a week... it'll be moldy...

Mine did last time I defrosted it. Just shut it off

No, it won't drain. We put towels in the bottom of the freezer when shutting it down, let it defrost then remove the wet towels and dry it down thoroughly, then let it sit a couple of days to completely dry out. Some folks wipe it down with various solutions (as we do but DW does it and I don't know what she uses). We then put arm and hammer baking soda in the compartment.

After you turn it off and wait for it to thaw and wipe it dry use those little blue clips that came with it to keep the doors propped open.
