First order of business

Well, not a major project, but a good one. Replacing the 1 12 volt 80 amp deep cycle, with 2, 6volt 125amp batteries. Found a box on Ebay, from All Battery Sales for 69 dollars. I'll make up my own cabling, the factory installed is too short for the new set up, and I like to solder my connections anyway.
Pick up the batteries tomorrow, box is coming the coming week.

After wiring up the brake sensor in my 2013 Ford Super Duty E250, which didn't come with the factory tow package, this will be easy in comparison.

why don't you go with 2 80 amp 12 volts ? in parallel that would give you 160 amps,
the 2 6 volts has to be in series so your still at 125 amps

It's not the amps your looking for it's the amp Hours. Using the above AMP's to mean amp hours the single 12V had 80 amp hours and the pair of 6V have 250 amp hours.
