OK, try to follow me here:

I have 3 ceiling lights in the kitchen/living room. We have them turned-on. You can hear what sounds like a fan running near the fuse box under the stove. When you turn off the last of the 3 lights, the "fan noise" stops. It does not matter which of the 3 lights you turn off last. If you turn it back on, the fan noise turns back on.

Could it be a fan to keep the fuse box cool?

Let me know what you think, maybe other 291tg owners or similar can see if there TT also does this.

Thanks.

Yes it's just the cooling fans doing their thing.

Completely normal.

Hi Pollockd,

As the others have stated, the fan you are hearing is inside the ACV to DCV converter. The converter, changes AC voltage to 12V DC. The 12VDC is what powers everything in your rig other than the air conditioner, microwave and possibly your TV sets. It even charges your trailer battery.

Whenever you draw about 2 Amps of current from the converter the fan will kick on and start cooling the converter. Good ears!
