What tonneau covers work well with a fifth wheel hitch and under rail tool box? I have a short bed F 250. I would like something as waterproof as possible.

Thanks

There have been several "very extensive" thread discussions of tonneau covers and fifth wheel towing in the recent past. If you do a forum search using the term "tonneau" you'll find enough reading to keep you busy most of the evening.

Here's one very recent discussion that addresses your question in "painful detail"... http://www.keystoneforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27701

Guess it depends on if the hitch is above or below the bed rail. I have a folding cover on my short bed Dodge with an Andersen hitch. The cover is not water proof, but is not as wet as no cover at all. Keeping prying eyes off things I want in the bed.

I have a Truxedo Lopro on my 2013 GMC 2500 and it keeps the water out. I also have a hard plastic tool/accessory box I bought at Bimart that fits well under the cover. It also covers the B&W/Anderson hitch.

I installed a TruXedo Lo Pro QT Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover - this allowed me to use the tie downs I have in the stake holes
