Hello all. Just took delivery on a Bullet 248RKS. Got it home and started loading our camping stuff into it.

We've been RV'ing since 2001 and tent camping before that. Previous campers include two pop-ups, and a hybrid so getting up to speed on the Bullet is not too hard though it took me a while to find the water pump.

Looking forward to our first trip in a couple of weeks.

Thank you all!

I spent quite a bit of time last night browsing posts. Probably stayed up way too late!

Our first trip. French Creek State Park, PA. Since we were joining our cast iron cooking club at Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site next door for most of Saturday we did not set up much outside the camper.

Thank you! We are really liking the floor plan. I do have to admit after all the years of tents and tenting on campers the first night was a little strange without hearing the night sounds. As it was a little chilly, windows and doors were closed that night.

I also just got this model and haven't yet had the shakedown cruise. Any tips.

Find the water pump (left side of bed when facing it) and water heater bypass (on street side in closed off section of cabinet to left of sink). You may want to block the bedroom door window with something opaque if the morning sun will be on that side of the camper. I put an electric tongue jack on and that makes a big difference when cranking that much weight.

Other than the lack of tenting its not much different than my pop-up or hybrid.
