Anyone out there have a 336BHS and use a pullrite 20k fixed hitch? We are trading in our Cougar TT for this 5er and the dealer recommends this hitch. Other than being heavy, how do you like it? Easy maintenance? Any chucking issues?

Thanks

I use the Pullrite OE 18K to pull an avalanche 365MB
TV 2013 F350 DRW 6.7
Had it about 9mo. It does the job but the chucking is always felt . Easy hook up and release.
Could do better for smother ride

Have Reese 16k fixed on a short bed with the 336. No issues, no maintenance other than a spray of lithium grease on the moving parts once in a while. Plastic plate on the king pin. Dealers suggestion sounds a little more heavy duty than you need.

I use a bw companion 3600 which is rated for about 25000 lbs. no complaints. Really quiet for my 336bhs. Overkilll. Comes in two parts. I can take it out by myself in a pinch.

I use the 20K PullRite hitch to pull a 14K 5er in a long bed Chevy. This is the 52lb version with the ball assembly covering the pancake. Two big reason I like this item is; I can disassemble it and clear the bed of the truck in 5 minutes and its easy to line up and drop the ball 3 to 5 inches off center on the rim of the bowl. The ball can also rotate on the pancake to center up from an angled approach. You can push the 90 degree angles slightly further also.
Downside, none at this time, but I believe there may be more chucking/clunking as the metals wear into the throat of the bowl down the road.
