You look at Timbrens?

Have Timbrens on our current TV. Do make a difference when hooked to the TT. Prevent that wallowing effect. These install in about 15 minutes.

If your talking air bags you can't go wrong with either Firestone or Air Lift. I prefer Air Lift but both are of equal quality IMO.

I've had both Firestone Rideright and the Airlift Ultimate bags. They are both virtually identical with the exception of the Airlift including an internal jounce (bump stop). This is important if the install procedure requires you to remove the factory bump stop as part of the process.

Also check the install instructions for all models that you're considering. You'll want to check any special notes or procedures related to clearance of 5th wheel or Gooseneck hitch (lower frame plates). I was pleasantly surprised how the Airlift has some specialized HW if you're using a 5th wheel hitch to clear the frame plates (Ford). Very nice product.

Firestone Ride Rite or Airlift are the usual air bag choices. I'm satisfied with the Firestone's on my truck. Timbrens look like a decent product but the lack of adjustability is a downside IMO. Stableloads are another choice. I don't like as these put incorrect bending loads on a TVs springs.

I've had firestone airbags with on board compressor and gauge installed on 2007 GMC duramax classic since day one. They work quite well for
Me.

On my second truck that I installed Firestones on and love them. The stability difference is awesome when towing heavy. It just stiffens the natural hinge between truck and trailer. Also, super nice if you ever want to get a yard of gravel or throw 3000# of drywall in the back of your truck :)

The real question is whether or not to go for the on board compressor so you can air up/down on they fly. I've just always manually filled which isn't a big deal. But if I'm ever feeling rich it would be super nice.

I put a set of the AirLift LoadMaster 5000 Ultimates on my 2011 F250 a couple of weeks ago. I did have a slight air leak when I was done, but it ended up being that I didn't get the airline fully inserted into the driver's side air bag. I bled the system down released the airline from the fitting and marked it with a piece of tape... 9/16" from the end and reinserted it. I felt and saw it go completely in the fitting that time. I lost like 1 lb of pressure over the last week, and that was probably because of the lower temperatures a week after I filled it....about 10-12 degrees cooler when I checked it a week later. I'm well pleased with the AirLift brand so far.
