This past fall, the DW and I decided that our short class A wasn't cutting it for us, so we went looking. And after getting a screaming deal on a duramax from the dealership i work at, we decided to look at fifth wheels. Well, it happened, and this is our new home awayhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170223/bbedcae9fc92cf5e5a3824e51b043f6d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170223/7aab4f1610f29257314c4cfc2d0e58da.jpg

Welcome to the forum from Radium Hot Springs BC.
Nice outfit. Enjoy. Is it an optical illusion or are you a bit high at the 5th wheel hitch?

No optical illusion, the truck has a 6 inch lift on it. I'm in the process of lowering the truck, but that's big$$$. I have the parts to raise the trailer 2 inches. The Andersen hitch is at its highest point. I am in the process of rectifying the issue.

Second pic is the latest, although it did snow again today. Hopefully it doesn't last long. We're itching to get out...

Welcome from Langley BC:CF: That's a very nice looking setup! My friend had the same problem with his truck being too high as well. He took his truck and trailer into the 4x4 shop and they added 3" to the trailer. Now it looks perfectly level and he says it tows like a dream now.:)
