New 2017 175LHS Hideout owner, and excited for the summer. 2 questions...

There is a sticker that says "Mount TV Here". What mounts have people used in the past?

The cabinet closest to the bathroom has a warped door so the top lock doesn't latch. Is this something Keystone would replace or should I talk to the dealer?

We bought this trailer in December, and lots of trips planned this summer! Thanks for all your help in advance.

Welcome to the forum and to Keystone RVing.

If you contact Keystone about your door, they will immediately refer you to a dealer for warranty repair. Yes, the door "should be covered by your warranty" depending on how it was warped. If it's a defect, the dealer will certify the requirement, send documentation to Keystone and they will process the claim. Keystone does not provide parts or support for individual owners, all warranty must be initiated by a dealer.

As for the TV mount, there are several threads located on the forum that discuss various mounts and different ways to install them in trailers. Individual owners have solved the installation in a variety of ways. Do a forum search using the search button in the black bar at the top of every page. You might want to search for topics like: "TV MOUNT", "INSTALLING TV MOUNT" and other similar phrases.

Welcome to the forum!!

Since the cabinet door issue will require a trip to the dealer, if you have any outings scheduled in a month or two, you might want to advise your dealer that you will bring the trailer in for them to document the problem and take pictures to submit to Keystone. It can take weeks to get the repair authorized, part ordered, delivered and repair made. Nothing says your unit has to stay at the dealer.

Well stated by chuckster57, depending on your relationship with your dealer, you may be able to take pictures yourself and send them to him. eliminating a trip, As a matter of fact, I always take pictures and send them to the service department so that can see what I am referring to before I get there. At times they used those pictures to send to Keystone or order parts ahead of time. Other times I had to take more pictures for them. It is worth a try, better camping than visiting the dealer :D

Added: Keystone loves pictures !!!!

Welcome to the forum from Southern MD. Lots of info here for mounting that TV. A lot will depend on what you mount and if you want it to move etc... if you do get one that swivels or moves make sure you figure out a way to tie it in place when your rolling down the Rd. Have fun and enjoy the memories you and your family will make.

We bought this TV mount from amazon and it works great.
We put the mount into the stud that is right behind/ next to the sticker. We have a 178LHS. Hope this helps a little. . .

+1

I have never had to take my trailer back to the dealer, which is great since they are 5 hours away.

I emailed them pictures for any problems and the would deal with keystone and have the parts shipped to me.

They even sent me a check to cover my labor for an "involved" repair.

Give it a shot, if you are handy.

And, :wlcm:
