Blowing Rock/Boone. North Carolina Tweetsie RR

We will be taking the grandkids to visit Tweetsie Railroad in April and wondered if anyone could recommend a CG nearby in Blowing Rock NC area?

Haven't been there since 1984. Don't remember any campgrounds but I can't imagine there aren't some nearby. My kids were the age of my Gkids then. Have fun.

Edit: just did a search for Blowing Rock NC in the RV Parky app and 4 CGs came up in the area. I couldn't tell how far they were away.

We camped at the Grandfather Mt. Campground last year (4th of July weekend) and the Boone KOA two years ago. Although these are not "RV Resorts" we would go back to either one. Lots to do and see in the area - Enjoy.:)

Thanks for the info! I pulled up the Boone KOA and unfortunately they don't open until May 1 and we were hoping to go in April so will keep looking and Grandfather Mountain may work!
