Don't know if you are looking for feedback for the specific model you are buying or Cougar TTs in general. We are happy with our 2013 24RKSWE. No problems so far. Good Luck.

Have a 2010 30 RKS that has been pretty much trouble free. Had one major slide issue within a week of getting it, one of the heating ducts underneath caught the slide mechanism, but was fixed under warranty and it's been great ever since.

I'm "reading between the lines" with this post, so it may or may not apply to the OP's question. In the first post, you indicated you're looking to buy a Cougar XLite 33MLS. In your signature, your tow vehicle is listed as a 2010 GMC Sierra 5.3 ( I'd guess a half ton model???). The specs on the Keystone RV website specs for the 33MLS are:
Shipping Weight 7675
Carrying Capacity 1875 (GVW 9550)
Hitch 750
Length 36' 5"
Height 11' 4"

That's a very large trailer for a half ton truck, and if you look carefully at the specs, you'll see that the empty trailer tongue weight as listed is only at 9.77% of the empty weight. The recommended tongue weight for all trailers is 10-15%, so the posted "at first glance" tongue weight can be very misleading.

By the time you load the trailer, add the weight of the hitch and put a battery/propane in the mix, you're going to be looking at a tongue weight of well over 1000 pounds.

So, my question to you would be: Are you planning to also get a larger tow vehicle? If not, you may be buying more travel trailer than you can safely tow with your current truck.

Yes JRTJH. I haven't updated yet. I have purchased a Silverado 2500 6.6 turbo diesel. That's the whole reason I'm wanting to get a little more trailer. I really like the 33 mls. Not sure if there is anyone on here that has one that would have opinions but thanks for the input

We have a 2013 Cougar 25RLSWE. Aside from a problem with the fridge the first summer that was covered under warranty, it has been trouble-free. We have done some furniture mods and now have it configured to our liking.

We have a 2015 30RLI and love it, great floor plan and have had only one small problem (the 12' slide out would start and stop, start and stop but once I replace the 12v30amp auto fuse, it corrected the problem).

We utilize the travel trailer about 5 months out of the year and have put 8, 419 miles on it, so it gets used.

We chose the 30RLI trailer because the recliners look directly at the TV and the fireplace (which we used more that the furnace) plus with the opposing slide outs extended it has a very open feeling.

The mods that we have done are: replaced the bedroom vent with an A/C, replace the tires with Carslie HD tires and TireMinders TPMS, added slide out drawers in the kitchen and under the island (getting too old to constantly bend over).

The total length of 37' trailer worried me at first, I have gotten use to towing/backing and on the open road I don't even know that it is behind me. Our tow vehicle is diesel and we utilize Pilot/Flying J truck stops for fuel (good discount with their credit card obtained via Good Sam).

What's the payload on the new truck? From what I've seen, the payload on a 2500 with the 6.6 is not much more than my half ton (max trailer package). The payload will be the limiting factor. If you are not sure, check the door jam for the sticker that lists the payload.

For comparison, my trailer (30RKS) is max loaded at 8,200 lbs, tongue is 1,050 and I am near my max payload of 2,015 on the truck (but I've lost 65 lbs since last summer so that will help).
