John, we visited for a few hours with friends who stayed at the Soo Locks Camp Ground. No sewer, but there is a dump site. I might also add that you have to take the lock tour on the Sioux St Marie, Ontario side to see things up close.

We stayed at Aune-Osborn last summer and would stay there again. No sewer but 2 dump stations. Check google sat view for a comparison of the 2 campgrounds.

I don't know of any campgrounds in the Ste Saint Marie area with full hookups. The closest I'm aware of is in St Ignace, about 40 miles away. Because of the cold winters, few campgrounds have sewer service, but all have a dump station, most have water and electric at each site. Most State Park campgrounds have "community water" and only electric at each site.

The sites at both the private campgrounds in the "Soo" are nice, lots are relatively small. There is also a campground at the casino. It's not on the water, but is on a hill behind the casino, larger sites with electric at each site and last year when we were there, price was $15 a day. It's located about 10 blocks from the water.

Consider the "boat museum" while you're there. It's on the water, you can tour a retired iron ore steamer, get "up close and personal" with some of the recent past and current "Great Lakes Shipping" culture.

As said, the boat tour of the "Soo Locks" is on the Canadian side. The bridge to Canada is an easy drive and crossing is not difficult as long as you have a passport or an "enhanced driver's license". I wouldn't recommend crossing unless you have proper documentation and remember, "NO FIREARMS" in Canada !!!

Aunne Osborne CG is the best for view from any site, ships making the turn for the locks makes them come in close, plus benches right down at the water for you to sit on or lots of people take chairs down in the evening. Boat tours are on American side, Try the Lock View restaurant for the Best Fish. We go there every year!

Hands down Aunne Osborne. No trees but great few, well maintained and great people, not crazy loud. If your a micro beer person, try Soo Locks brewery. Great beer and the owner is really cool

Wife and I were there for three nights September 2015. we we could sit outside behind the camper and watch the freighters come and go. If possible get a site that is closest to the water as we did. Nice campground.
